Beaver Wood Energy is a biomass energy company with decades of experience in the development of biomass combined heat and power and pellet manufacturing.

The company’s most recent project is Fair Haven (Vermont) Energy Project that integrates the operations of a renewable biomass electricity plant, wood pellet production operation, and a greenhouse operation that produces food year-round using excess heat from the power facility. It is a joint venture with Bechtel Development Co. and engineered by Bechtel Power Corp. The design will feature state-of-the-art technology that minimizes emissions, maximizes efficiency, and gives Vermont a new model for a combined energy, heat and food facility.

Founding partners are Thomas Emero, William Bousquet and Ted Verrill. Emero has developed coal, gas, hydro and biomass power plants and counseled Alternative Energy, Inc., a developer, owner and operator of four wood-fired facilities located in Maine and Michigan. Bousquet is a professional engineer with experience in development of coal, gas and biomass power plants. Verrill has experience in financing the development, construction and completion of biomass and wood pellet facilities.
