Gestamp Biomass International (GBI) develops, constructs, owns and operates biomass and alternative energy projects around the world including fuel procurement and logistics. GBI is a vertically integrated company, capable of optimizing every activity in the value chain of our projects. GBI is a subsidiary of the privately held Corporacion Gestamp (Gestamp) industrial group, a world leader in steel service centers, automotive components and renewable energy. Gestamp Biomass International Projects

The senior management team of GBI has a proven track record of successfully managing the construction and operation of renewable energy projects including five projects in Spain that are operational and two that are currently coming out of the construction phase and starting commercial operations.

Berlin, NH

GBI is part of the ownership group for the $300MM, 75-MW Burgess Biopower biomass power plant currently under construction in Berlin, NH. In addition to its ownership stake, GBI is also acting as the construction manager for the ownership group with day-to-day responsibility to manage the EPC contract.

Soria, Spain

GBI is majority owner of a 15MW biomass power plant currently under construction in Soria, Spain. In addition to its ownership position, GBI is also acting as the EPC contractor for the project, boiler manufacturer and is supplying the biomass feedstock.
